The 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer adds a more powerful 168-horsepower 2.4-liter DOHC MIVEC engine for the GTS and when equipped with the CVT includes a 6-step Sportronic mode with magnesium paddle shifters. For 2009 the FAST (Freehand Advanced Security Transmitter) Key is included in the optional Sun and Sound Package that is available for ES and GTS. The package also includes a 650-watt Rockford-Fosgate Premium Audio System, a power glass sunroof and SIRIUS Satellite Radio with a 6-month pre-paid subscription.
